Our Journey
Over the decades, our business has evolved through key milestones, trusted distributor partnerships, and brand-building initiatives that shaped our position in the electrical industry.
- 1958: Goyal Commercial Co. was founded by Mr. Bankey Behari Goyal in the prime electrical market of Kolkata, Tiretti Bazaar.
- 1975: Became appointed distributor of Rashmi Industry, a major player in tube light chokes, fittings, piano type switches, sockets, and accessories.
- 1990: Introduced our own brand RLF (Richa Light Fittings), which evolved into a recognized name in metal halide, halogen, and LED light fittings.
- 2006: Became distributors of Siemens modular switches and MCBs.
- 2007-10: Earned major Siemens recognitions including Best Performance in Siemens WA Eastern Region, Highest Overall Turnover in Siemens DELTA Vega Eastern Region, and Best Dealers in East by Siemens.
- 2010: Mr. Rajesh Goyal became President of CEDA, the Calcutta Electric Dealer’s Association.
- 2019: Added another milestone by becoming distributor of Honeywell (MK) Electricals.
