Agronomy and Management: 

Seed Rate: 10 kg per acre

Water and Irrigation: Jumbo Gold should irrigate before 7 days intervals in summer and 12 days interval in rainy season. For better palatability crop should be with high moisture. Sufficient irrigation will boost the healthy and expected bio mass yield in forage crops.

Sowing Method: Although Jumbo Gold is easy to establish, prepare good seedbed for good germination and root development.

• Ridges and Furrows: For staggered sowing, harvesting, irrigation and fertigation ridges and furrows method is very successful to get high yield and high quality fodder.
• Blocks Method: Blocks method is another successful method in forage cultivation. Farmer can harvest the fodder as per in requirement and irrigate the same block.

Spacing: Row to row 25 cm, Plant to plant 10 cm

Post Cutting Activities: Apply adequate nitrogen and water for regeneration of fresh leaves and Stems.

Cutting and Harvesting: Jumbo Gold can cut at feed at any time but 1 meter to 1.5 meter is idle height to get more benefits from green fodder Jumbo Gold should cut above 6 to 8 inches height from the ground level while harvesting/ cutting which is necessary to get immediate re-growth for multi-cut.

कृषि विज्ञान और प्रबंधन:

बीज दर: 10 किलोग्राम प्रति एकड़

मिट्टी: चारे की फसलें विभिन्न प्रकार की मिट्टी में अच्छी तरह से उगाई जा सकती हैं। मिट्टी का पीएच 5.5 से 7.0 होना चाहिए, अच्छी जल निकासी वाली मिट्टी सबसे उपयुक्त होती है। अम्लीय और लवणीय मिट्टी से बचें।

पानी एवं सिंचाई: जंबो गोल्ड को गर्मियों में 7 दिन के अंतराल से पहले और बरसात के मौसम में 12 दिन के अंतराल पर सिंचाई करनी चाहिए। बेहतर स्वाद के लिए फसल अधिक नमी वाली होनी चाहिए। पर्याप्त सिंचाई से चारा फसलों में स्वस्थ और अपेक्षित जैव द्रव्यमान उपज को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

बुआई की विधि: हालाँकि जंबो गोल्ड को स्थापित करना आसान है, अच्छे अंकुरण और जड़ विकास के लिए अच्छी क्यारी तैयार करें।

मेड़ और नाली: क्रमबद्ध तरीके से बुआई, कटाई, सिंचाई और फर्टिगेशन के लिए मेड़ और नाली विधि उच्च उपज और उच्च गुणवत्ता वाला चारा प्राप्त करने के लिए बहुत सफल है।

काटने के बाद की गतिविधियाँ: ताजी पत्तियों और तनों के पुनर्जनन के लिए पर्याप्त नाइट्रोजन और पानी डालें।
